Our Vocational School collaborates with external units for various purposes. With these collaborations, it is aimed to graduate students who have the qualifications needed by the industry, with high application and skill capabilities, and to provide social contributions. In this context, continuous contact is maintained with sector representatives. The purpose of these collaborations is gathered under five main headings.
· Conducting R&D qualified studies
· Conducting consultancy and training activities
· Collaborating with state institutions (Vocational qualification, public education centers, etc.)
· Collaborating with other universities and faculties
· Conducting internship and workplace training collaborations
Current Situation
· The 3+1 education system is implemented in our school. This practice contributes to the professional development of the student and increases their employment after graduation. In this process, the constant communication of students and academicians with companies increases the potential for collaboration.
· Different collaboration protocols are signed by meeting with potential companies.
· Information meetings are held about the current application potentials and writing of projects such as TÜBİTAK, European Union, KOSGEB, BAP, etc.
· Students are encouraged to participate in project markets, idea competitions, entrepreneurship, etc. events and structures.
· Courses with practical and theoretical training content are opened for external stakeholders, participation certificates are given, and the qualifications of sector personnel are increased.
Goals
· Preparing and reporting the infrastructure and personnel competencies and potential of our unit.
· Researching potential work areas on a department and program basis, creating lists, and directing students.
· Preparing institutional documents and forms for protocols and collaborations.
